As someone who's naturally shy around attractive girls, I have the tendency to jump the gun in many situations. That is, I'll finally muster up the balls to make a move, but when I do, it comes across as OUT OF THE BLUE and not very smooth. However I've noticed something interesting, here's an example...
I met this beautiful all-natural Hawaiin chick named Oriana last summer. One night we agreed to meet up at the beach. I brought a lil' somethin to smoke on, and she brought an unopened fifth of Gin.
So there we were on the sand, taking shots, talking, and laying on the blankets I had the foresight to bring. Well the tide was rising but we decided to risk getting trapped and soaked, get drunk, and spend the night under the stars.
All this time I'm waiting for the "right time" to break the physical barrier. Finally I said something like, "C'mere, cuddle with me." She answered, "Nah, I'm alright." I felt rejected and lay on my back, but acted as though nothing had happened and continued laughing and conversing with her. The next thing I know, she was laying on top of me!
The point is, there've been several occasions where I've met with initial resistance, but because I played it off and stayed upbeat, the girl seemed to wonder why I wasn't being pushy and started taking the initiative herself. Then I realized that even girls who are interested try to make you work for it a bit, and you shouldn't assume that rejection is final. Be patient and persistent, see what happens!
