"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So theres this girl i've been trying to get on for the past few weeks. I have only met up with her at our work's happy hours, which are on thursdays, but I never see her at all throughout the week. First time I met her, got her number, whatever. I call her to hang out on the weekend, she was busy when I called, so I forgot about it. Today was the 3rd time I saw her at our happy hour. She acted all standoffish the whole time, but whenever I laid kino on her, ANY type of kino on her, she welcomed it. I can keep my hand on the small of her back for like 5 seconds, and she has no problem.

However, she acts like she is a lot cooler than she is (or it might be that she is so shy that she doesn't know how to act). She mentions that she will have a party at her place once her roomates are done with it, and I ask if i can come, and she says "no". There are other parts of our convos where she acts standoffish and fairly rude. YET, she accepts my kino all the time. AND, when I saw a guy trying to hit on her and touch her, she got all squirmy with him.

ALSO...she never calls me, but whenever I call, she answers right away, or calls me back immediately if she doesn't have her phone on her. She has never initiated ONE call. I have no problem with this, but that, combined with the fact that she acts rude to a lot of what I say, is making me confused.

Do her actions (kino acceptance and fact that she quickly and happily answers all my calls) speak louder than her words, or is this b!tch just a phuckin retard? help!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I'll admit that I'm a little rusty.
But my opinion is this...
ask her out on a date.
If she says "no", or makes excuses,
then you have your answer.

I need more info. How old is she, how old are you? HB7? HB8? Where do you work?

From the initial read, I want to say she's an attention hoare, but I need more meat on the grill to give you a good BBQ.
