"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Ok quick background..last spring... before i found sites like this.. I dated a girl from class for about 2 months.. I was total afc, but she was into me. Anyways..semester ends.. she goes to san diego with best friend(female), comes back.. we talk twice on the phone, I slip something about liking her and she kinda flips. I feel the power slip from my hands.. anyways no need to mention she blew me off shortly after... anyways...

she is in my class this spring. still smokin. no real other prospects in the class that I would **** either, EXCEPT for this smokin petite black girl who was in one of my classes last semester, who although i had one kinda insta date with last fall i doubt there would be anything building there to really make my ex jealous so who cares..

anyways i didnt get a chance to talk to her when i saw her she just kinda walked by smiled and said hi(she had to of noticed me in class bc i talked like 5 times to the teacher about the subject). i was kinda shocked and just walked out the other way looking over my shoulder. i think it suprised her i didnt chase after.

anyways thought of talking to her tommorrow very nonchalant. as in is this seat taken..? *cute grin* and just talk to her like an old friend.

bad idea? good idea? couldnt hurt obviously and this is definetly NOT one-itis(i'm actually fukcing a girl from her HS that was in our class last spring but i didnt sarge until i saw her at the mall one day...)

just looking for opinions/advice bros!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Talk to her, but only nonchalantly. Do not pursue her -if she liked you she would have taken your statement of attraction last semester seriously!

Have some dignity. Don't give her the satisfaction to deny you twice!
