What should be my goal

This summer will be a great time for me to bulk up. I WONT be taking BJJ to focus on lifting. I will be also able to eat and sleep at optimal ammounts also. This period will be for about 3 monthes.

What time of weight gain should I expect. I know this will vary a lot from person to person, but just throw some numbers out there so I have an idea what to aim for.

Shoot for 1-2lbs per week. 2 will be much harder, but just shoot for the gaining part. None of this I gained 6lbs in one week stuff either, and dont believe anyone who tells you that stuff or things that claim that stuff.

Even at 4lbs per month, that's 12lbs in 3 months which isn't bad at all. Add a hair more and you could do 15lbs or so.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU EAT! This is critical.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I know people who gained 50 pounds in a year. Depends on how much effort you put into it.

Be real,nowhere near 50 lbs. of that is muscle.

Ive gained over 50lbs, surely not all of it muscle, but it looks fine to me. If I listened to your advice I'd be eating steamed broccoli for dinner and gaining 0.25lbs of pure muscle per month.

Spes, if you eat 5-6x meals/day, occasional fast food, you should gain quickly, as 1.5lbs+/week. I gained muscle very slowly until I stopped boxing, then it came very quickly. Just make sure to do heavy weights with compounds lifts. Forget conditioning exercises for now, go for pure strength and eat big.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I eat steamed broccoli for dinner. What's your point?

Seriously: the most anabolic food is Milk. I know people who drank 2 gallons milk a day. Try it if you don't believe it.

When I said "If I listened to your advice", I was referring to blinkwatt. My point about eating brocolli is you can't be obsessesive about BF% and hope to make maximal muscle gains. This leads to 140lb beginners following strict caloric diets and making no progress.

Ive read that milk isn't healthy for humans, there was a big debate on it here a while back. I'm lactose intolerant and when I factor in the cost of lactaid its not worth it to me. Even with the pills, I still get bloated and gassy.

Do you guys gain gradually over a period, like 1 lbs a week. Or don't gain for 3 weeks, but gain 4 lbs on the fourth week?

Actually,yes it is to be honest. If it's not muscle then what is it? Go get your bodyfat tested and I'm sure you will see what I'm talking about. There is nothing wrong with gaining fat,if you going for mass instead of muscle,just make sure you don't mix the two up.

If I listened to your advice I'd be eating steamed broccoli for dinner and gaining 0.25lbs of pure muscle per month.

I don't eat vegetables,not intentionally,but that's just how I eat.
