"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

Gentlemen.
We've all choked once or twice in the past. You know what I'm talking about : You've seen a girl , wanted to cols approach , gone up to her and choked , mind goes blank you can't hink of what to say and you pull out thinking "D@mn! why couldn't I do that?".

I'm curious. In your experience , when this happens to you, do you think it is because you're scared of being rejected (and feeling akward) or of putting the girl in a situation where she feels akward and uncomfortable?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Well if we didn't care about the girl's comfority or whatever we would go ahead and do the move. But since we care, and in order to make a move we have to play "nice" we are afraid of rejections because usually that's what happens when you play your moves "nicely."

The times when I pulled out, I always felt defeated before I even tried, and that was my problem. I used to assume defeat, and that's usually what I got. The reasons? Well I don't think they are super-important, but it was probably the fear of failure and an unwillingness to escape my comfort zone.

And yes, I used to think I'd make the girl uncomfortable. Because I'd be *gasp* revealing to her that I'm a sexual being!

Nowadays, I assume victory, and that's usually what I get.

Hmmmm

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

i dunno, it's a combination of the two. I don't care for the girl tho if she rejects me, but if she tries to gracefully, i don't wanna make her look bad

Neither. Came to a point where I do not care anymore.
