It is not the profession but the passion IMO. Obviously in consideration, but I have found regardless of what you do, if the chick sees how hard you work for it and how passionate you are about it, you could be anything really.

if we are talking all professions then by far

A-List actors followed by famous musicians followed by pro athletes

Now if we are talking ones that are somewhat obtainable:

party DJ
Bartender
club promoter
model photographer
fitness coach
surf instructor

Yes, those are the ones that allow you access to hot girls and a chance to get them. Doctors and lawyers get those girls for LTRs but don't have the time to pursue women given their long work hours.

Well I was talking more of the traditional professions, I.e not athletics or musicians etc.

if im not wrong, girls are turned on by cops. Given the sense of power a cop has.

Or would being a cop scare them away?

But the hours issue definitely isn't a problem, where there's a will there's a way. If nothing else, there's always Friday and Saturday nights plus I'm always getting hooked up through friends and meeting women through social and networking events. Being a doctor or lawyer is definitely a plus, but I know lots of doctors and lawyers who are not that good looking or not very social and they're perpetually single so I think things like looks, fitness, dressing well, and having game count for a lot no matter what profession you're in.

My thoughts exactly. Cops usually get 3 days off a week so social time is pretty good. I know doctors who have weekends off or if they do PA they usually work 4 days a week 9 to 5.

If you do a job, any job you love with a passion. This energy translates and it comes across as the guy being in his own world owning it like a boss not some saddo living only for the girl.

I've personally had discussions with a few women who were married to policemen and they related the profession negatively--mainly due to the stress.

I'm told all the time that I look like a cop/military, and that's why several women said that they were attracted to me. That's the positive of being a policeman, I guess--the look, the authoritative personality, the ability to handle oneself in stressful situations, etc. It definitely takes a strong personality to be a police officer. I can see how woman would be attracted to that.

Haha must have been referring to me, I'll chime in. As far as weekends go I have every other Friday-Sunday off, which is nice. As far as ladies go, I have encountered several over the past 8 years who will not date cops. Usually they or a friend has had a bad experience with one and that's it...no more. Some like it because there's an edge there. The uniform, the gun, the dangerous nature of the job. You're right, its a love it or hate it thing. Some women don't like the fact that its dangerous and unpredictable. I met one girl on match months ago when I was still a member who, as soon as I spoke to her on the phone, found out I was a cop and never spoke to me again. Her dad and ex boyfriend were both cops, go figure.

One thing I should add. The last girl I was dating accused me of being hard to read, emotionless, etc. I guess it's because I've seen more of the traumatic things in life that the average person hasn't witnessed. So little things like a lost cell phone, a dead battery, a minor argument, etc. don't really get me worked up. She couldn't understand that. She also accused me of having too much of a take it or leave it attitude. Which is true.
