I found this site whilst I was looking for a "just got dumped guide". So far it has been a brilliant find, and has helped me out soooo much. If it wasn't for this site I'd be phoning and begging her constantly like a b1tch. I'm 3 weeks in with NC now and am gradually starting to feel better. It's hard don't get me wrong; but I know it's right.

I came here to learn sh!t, but when I got here I was appalled at how little original knowledge there was here. Most of the useful things were variations of stuff I had heard when I was a kid. I was hoping that there were real, you know, secrets here. That was probably naive of me.
If they would have had this site when I was younger, I probably would have gotten a lot more out of it. When my girlfriend in high school dumped me, do you know how I had to learn not to phone her and beg her like a b!tch? I actually phoned her and begged her like a b!tch. That taught me that not only does that not work, but you also degrade yourself and lose all your self respect. Glad your path was easier.adam225 said:

I found this site looking up BPD and stumbled upon Brad's Master DJ guide on how to spot one.
Even though i was sort of figuring stuff out, I'm glad I ever found this site or i would of been an AFC for a whole while longer.

To give advice.
I come here because sometimes the posts here prompt me to think about things, and then I write them here or on my blog for my own analysis. I find that when I write stuff out it makes me think about it in more depth.
The comments in response to my posts are uniformely unintelligent -- most blatantly so -- so I don't attempt to take anything away from the replies. But coming to a forum (here or elsewhere) to put thoughts into words is very important for learning IMHO.
The RSD forums, which I've been posting in for the last couple of weeks, have a younger and overall higher quality level of user. They actually have decent mods and so they're aren't inundated with loons, trolls and "manosphere" damage cases. Most of the guys there are actually trying to think logically.
