What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It's a guy with good looks AND is very full of himself and doesn't give two shytes about the girl. He really doesn't care because he knows puss is a dime a dozen.

see, I was right. but Im not here to derail this thread.

anyway, Sam, by not caring I hope youre talking about the girl instead of more general things in life such as what your parents think of you and stuff like that

A level of apathy associated with a guy who has plenty of options available to them. An ******* isn't phased by women and does not seek to placate them - only themselves. It can also be akin to the aloofness that comes with a guy who simply has too many options and really can't keep track of them all. Women call men *******s not so much because they shove their face in mud, but that the women actually have to initiate in some way to get them to notice.

It's not a stupid question, I still struggle with it @ 34 and have to remind myself to stop being a chump.

It's like a invisible line(respect line I guess) you have to create with woman. If they cross that line then they have to know you won't put up with their sh*t. You can walk and be happy finding someone else.

Had an ex say this to me, somewhat early stage of dating.
Guys are a dime a dozen. I looked at her and said and woman aren't?
