"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

For real, I ben thinking bout this isnce a freind of mine droped by to "spend time" with his girl. They sat together on my roof talking. Think they kissed at the last hour or something. Granted they have very uptight families but it's got me thinking. Half the time the dudes in my class are bleery eyed cuz they spent all night talking to their sweethearts.

Half of them (that's what 1/4 of everyone I know, math sp?) throw a mini-celbration (smoke/drink on him) when they kiss, takes a while too. BTW excet a few people the other half are too broke from dating to buy anyone anything.

Some philosphy please.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

By your post, I'm assuming you're a younger guy. To put it simply, it's from a lack of maturity. Experiencing new things is one of the most exciting things in life. Enjoy it while you can. The excitement fades with age.

Lol, you'd think so wouldn't ya? I'm 19 actually(believe it or not). Before I started talking to my classmates I allways thought when you'r 5-10 you'r BF/GF relationship goes like that. As in you hold hands, yacker on the phoine, all that mushy crap. It's a prety uptight place I go to school at but when you'r 17+ does it still hold?

Sucks to go to your school, dude. I'm sure not every chick is a prude, though. I mean, if you're looking to get laid, I'm sure that there are some freaks to be found.

There's bound to be some (still looking). IT's just so weird when guy's brag about having spent 60 hours talking on thier new phones. Cell bill comes to something like 150~200 USD. Like we talked about once for that kinda money ... :D
