Obama was without a doubt the most mediocre US President that we've ever had. And that didn't even hit me like a brick until recently what with Obamacare being ruled unconstitutional, this man accomplished little, possibly even nothing, in his eight years as President that benefitted our country. The ship's direction has been reversed, and he's got nothing left to show for it. Pathetic.

It is a race issue. Predominately white countries of the west are require immigration because the birth rates are too low. Replacement is 2.1 babies per woman. This is simple math. If you don't reach replacement rate, your country requires immigration to make up the difference lest it has longer term economic decline. You can howl all you want about Muslim immigrants but your country will continue to need them unless white people start having more babies.

From an economic point of view whatever entered europe from africa and middle east in the last 15 years didnt help at all to boost the growth, actually the amount of welfare they costed plus the amount of cost in terms of crime rate/jails/courts strongly outbalance any dream pro migration people support.

Plain and simple they cost more than what they provide and while they do it, they decrease the overall health and wealth condition of their host countries, and Im using the term host not because english is not my first language but because I see a parallel with the animal world where someone is basically a parasite to someone else while destroying the same ground that feed them.

I also dont believe in the "make more kids to be safe" line, with aumatization and modern technologies it takes less and less workers by the years while resources and pollution are a big problem, if Europe could control the slow decrease in population it would surely be better....also keep in mind most souther euro countries have a double digit youth unemployment and the last thing it takes are third worlders with no culture or will to work.

Its hard to answer to your question for two reasons, you talk about "immigrants" as if they are an homogeneous group.

First we have to differentiate between intraeuropean immigration (polish moving to uk for example) where what you say may apply, basically doing cheap job at a cheap pay which is however more than they could get in their country from immigration outside Europe.

Secondly we have to differentiate between first generation immigrants, their sons and their grandsons; in this case it works the opposite of the US where you got first generation immigrants to be hard to integrate than slowly and slowly they became americans (think of italians there).

In Europe we got turkish or northern africans back then trying to fit while now their grandsons are those who basically turned london (togheter with new wave africans/middle easterns/southeast asian) into a battle field of stabbing and acid attacks, from 2013 till last year we got hundres of thousands of illegal coming from the mediterranean and the eastern route from the balcans too.

There are areas in sweden with sharia law and the police basically not allowed to get inside, I guess these are joy of multiculturalism leftists love so much.

Good point, clearly no coincidence that youth unemployment is very high in the 16-25 age group for less educated locals.

Even poor teens looking for support to pay their studies basically have no convenience at those salaries.

Then costs go up, and the domestic producer gets squashed by foreign competitors. $15 an hour is becoming the new minimum wage. I don't know exactly what you have to pay a millennial to work in the hot sun all day, at least double that I would guess.

I probably have more in common with the lettuce picking Mexicans that I do a typical millenial. Assuming we did manage to replace the former with the latter, which is no small task, prices would double on a lot of different commodities. Several would probably disappear from the marketplace altogether, the crops that are most labor intensive and least mechanized.

No crop would disappear, the prices would just rise to their correct equilibrium price.

Yeah, a "correct" price that was so high, no one would pay it, especially after you already undercut their purchasing power so drastically with tariffs that raised prices.

It was the best corn crop that most people can remember in my area. But farmers are going to be lucky to break even after prices plummeted because of the Trump tariffs. And the aid package all went to soybean farmers. This is where tariffs get us, bankrupt farms.
