I would like to ask a question as a "thinker" more so then anything. Something for you to chew over and seriously think about.

"What does it take to be a man?"

That's the question I propose, I look forward to reading the reactions.

You must be fearful, but not scared, wherever you go. It's like swimming long distances alongside big great white sharks. You're too focused on the mission to notice the sharks which could easily have you as diner if they wanted to.

It's often said that men aren't as emotional as women. I disagree. We just are and/or have to be better at controlling it.

Having said that, being a man is about "controlling the inner demons" i.e. fears, negative emotions/thinking. Plus, it's about completing your mission i.e. what needs to be done, in spite of the cr*p that is in our heads at the time.

I agree with Poonani though. We should never seek to ELIMINATE fears. That's why I said we should control it instead. Whether you are dealing sharks, electricity, or anything potentially dangerous, some fear is essential and should be converted to a healthy caution.
