"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

This girl at my school really likes me and I've became attracted to her. Thing is that my friend really likes her, he even proposed to her in the classroom in front of everyone ( I wasn't there, the teacher told me about it. Me & her are cool like that.) I don't know what she said, but I think that she doesn't feel the same way she feels about me with him. She doesn't provoke him or anything and she's always showing up around me, like today i must have seen her at least 8 times and she called me everytime she saw me. She plays like she doesn't like me but her actions speak otherwise, and i play like i don't like her either. But yea, so the way I'm thinking right now is, I've never had a gf, my friend has had plenty, he's had sex, I haven't. Why should I let him get the girl? Do you guys agree with my views on this? I know that if I get with her, he's gonna hate the living hell outta me.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

don't let him get the girl

live for YOURSELF!

if she's single and neither of you have dated her before she's fair game

plus if he gets pissed you can point out that he's gotten alot more then you (at the risk of sounding a little pathetic)

Isn't this an option...
Letting the friend know??
I guess it all depends on how close you are..
I have been in the same situation, no problem in letting him know how you feel. If he is a good friend he will understand, if not, oh well...go for it.

Thing is that even though we're friends he's tries to be in a competition with me every now and then. He thinks that I have no chance with her because according to him I'm not as good as he is yet. Little does he know. but I just might let him know what's up with it. And I'm gonna ask her if she's feeling anything for him.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking that you will come off as needy if you start asking her if she likes your friend. That's probably not the way you want to go with this. Just play it cool and don't tell her how you feel or anything like that because then she'll think you're a pvssy and lose interest.

I was just thinking about that. I'll only mention it to my friend since it would affect him.
