What did I do wrong?

alright, i am transfering to a new school and during registration i meet this new girl. she helps out for the school and shows new people around and ****. so we chat for like 5 minutes. the next day of registration i see her again and we have a good talk for like 10 minutes and she was laughing and it looked like she was enjoying talking to me. the whole time shes giving me good body language and smiling and ****. so then today was the first day of school and i see her in the halls. and i say whats up and we talk for a second and then i say give me your number and then she's like "no, not right now... sorry" WTF????????????????????? I seriously do not understand what i did wrong. i dont know how i couldve done it any better. this makes no sense. please tell me whats going on.

but, still, why would she say no? saying "give me your number" cant be enough for her to say no. i heard that if you say "can i have your number" shows weakness and gives her prizability. so thats why i said give me your number.

but i still dont know why she said no?

But maybe you should of waited for her to invite you to go hang out, at like lunch or something. You don't always have to start up a convo everytime you see a chick. Just a hi will work.

Well she did say not right now. At least you have some chance. Just do the basics:
Kino, talk to her about her, say that you like the same things so you two have something in common, be seen with other girls, C&F, eye contact, etc.
Then at the end of one of your convos ( AND MAKE SURE that you say this when she is on a HIGH, like when she is laughing and having a good time. As soon as she has a good time you want to take it away from her leaving her wanting more) just say something along the lines of:
"I have to get going, but it was nice talking to you. Why don't you write your e-mail for me?" AS she is writing her e-mail say "Go ahead and write your number too"
Works everytime.
