"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

A girlfriend is not supposed to change your life, or become your life. She is to enhance your already awesome life. If she isn't doing that, then I have my favorite word for that...

Mission: He wasn't asking how a girlfiend changes your life, he was asking if his game should be any different around her.

In my opinion when you have a girlfriend you need to open up just a little bit more, the DJ mindset doesn't let someone get very close to the real you and if you have a relationship without some sort of deep emotional connection then the girl is going to start wondering about it and be unhappy.

I am curious to see what anyone that has been in a LTR has to say about this/anyone with more experience then me. Right now I've had a girlfriend for around a week (and it's been wonderful.. heh) and she is adicted to me and I don't want to **** this up for a long time.

once you have got the girl and you 2 are officiolly a couple, i dont think it is necessary to continue the DJ mindset, so gradually over a period of a month or 2, drop the DJ mind set, and concentrate on being yourself.. if she doesnt like it then NEXT,

i dont know about you but i couldnt have a long term relationship based on a a lie... may be a STR but never a LTR, i would end up being depressed becuase im living a lie..
Well I'm not sure if you should go to that extreme. For one once you are truly a DJ it accually becomes part of your personality and becomes a part of who you are. Granted still have your own hobbies and interests but the way you present yourself and talk to people will have changed dramatically.

If you back down and start loosing your edge the relationship will suffer. It's all about finding the balence between staying confident and a man and opening yourself up so the relationship doesn't feel cheap.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
