I'm saying that looks do not matter. Attitude does. Style does. But looks come in last. If I go down to the mall right now every woman in the place will take notice of me because of my attitude and style. But if I go in a t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans with no attitude or style then almost none of them are going care too much even though I'm a good lookin' guy.

If I wear a suit and walk with pride they'll be wetting their pants. If I dress like a slob then I'll have to work for their attention (yeah... as if).

Also, if you were to actually meet some of these celebrities (and I have met quite a few of them) you would realise that they are not all that cool. You guys have been watching too damned much television. Tune out and tune into the real world for once.

My friend was born with good looks for a guy, so I am told by some of his female friends. Pretty much what has been said here was what she said, women find him attractive and want to get to know him better. Regardless of his "game" ( which he has none), he sparks that very important initial interest of the female party.

In short, looks do matter to a point. It has been said on other web pages, and i agree: as long as you do not look like the hunchback of notre dame, you should be able to pull women.

Not entirely true, women rarely approach average and above average guys, but they will approach hot guys constantly. It’s like they’re brains are fried and their total stimulus seeking zombie AFCs who don’t know how to act around attractive members of the opposite sex. Their brains are liquored up, they're horny, and have to kiss/touch anything that's bright and shiny.

Same thing goes for a really peacocked guy in a wild, crazy outfit (see Kinetic Charm’s post). I’ve had girls approach me and touch my **** and I’m like, “Hands off the merchandise there sweetie.”

JT47319, looks alone are not the cause of that effect. If the good looking guy was a total AFC (like I once was) then he would not have her interest without the right attitude and style to match.

1) It's a numbers game
2) If a woman's interest is high enough, you can get away with murder

So there are LOTS of things that affect a woman's interest, from the car you drive to which rerun of friends was on last night. Good looks is one of these things. It doesn't mean that if you don't look good, you're never gonna get any, nor does it mean that looking good guarantees that you get laid. A lot of things factor into this stuff.

Nobody disputes that ugly guys can get hot babes. But all other things being equal, good looks will just tend to make everything easier for you because:

1) More women have more interest in you.
2) Higher interest = you can afford to screw up more.

It's that simple - it makes things easier. Just like having more cash makes it easier. A good pedigree makes it easier. Taller makes it easier. Good voice, nice clothes, good body, ability to dance, play the guitar and walk on water will all make it easier.

WHile anybody can get a girl, the question on this topic was basically what can good looks do that personality can't?

Good looks will get u more dates. It wont gurantee you have a second or third date, but initail dates, it definitely will.

Good Looks will get u more ONS.

Good Looks will get more girls talking about you. You date so and so, her friends think ur hot and on and on.

Good looks will get u forgiven easier. Girls tend to forgive things said and done by a hot guy more so then some COOL Avg looking guy.


While anybody, if they try, can get girls, people who say Looks don't matter spend way too much time online and not in the real world.

Apparently there is not one known genetic abnormality which does not affect the face. The face is, according to experts, the innate indicator of genetic health.

So the quest for beauty is apparently the quest for the most "average" of everything - i.e., the least deformed. That is why the composite of many faces is deemed much more attractive than any one which makes it up. The peculiarities - the minor mutations - are averaged out.

Fact: New born babies will always look at more intently faces deemed attractive. Fu*king new born babies.
