You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Isn’t that marriage? In my experience, the minute she realizes you care what she thinks about you, you're done. No chance.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
I have heard this before too, but I know someone in real life who has bad breath but he gets a lot of girls.Foul odors...especially bad breath are instant turn offs regardless of how hot a petson is.....
Gents, get your hygiene right.....
how does giving up all your sexual options translate to you caring about what she thinks of you?Isn’t that marriage?
You are signing a document that tells the her, the state, and the world that will give up all your sexual options for the rest of your life to be with her. And if SHE wants out, your life may or may not be destroyed.
Brutal.
Most men don't need "more attraction" they need less attraction killers.Attraction killers:
1) Being indecisive
2) Being too emotive (moving the head too much while talking in a sing-songy way)
3) Being withdrawn with your body language (keeping legs together, making yourself "small" when seated)
4) Being overly affectionate (always telling her you love her, overly eager to please)
5) Being socially uncalibrated (overly shy)
6) Dressing with no sense of style (Just a bit of neatness is all that's needed; Nothing over the top). Your clothing speaks volumes about how much or how little you respect yourself.
7) The sense that she has you hook, line and sinker. She should always be wondering about how she stands with you.
8) Worn out shoes. SO important to women. Good shoes cover a multitude of sins.
9) Worth a repeat: Being indecisive. A total attraction killer
10) Being completely out of shape. You don't have to be muscular. Just fit-looking.
Those are ten off the top of my head. It's also a chronicle of my history... things I had to learn to reverse.
