Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Wtf? Local chick, comments on my social media photos, hits on me. She's hot, cool. I hit her up like 2 days after (today) said she'd be down to meet up..I ask for her number, she says "contact me on Facebook messenger, I don't really give my number out unless it's for business inquiries" I just said hm ok and didn't say anything after.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Maybe I was too forward, thinks I'm a player type. I did get right into it and have a lot of chick interactions on my social Media. Weird

I have realized you don't need to get the number to get a date. I have even stopped asked for the number. If she is interested, she will provide it afterwards.

Talk to her a bit, build rapport, then set a date. Anything other than a yes or a suggestion for an alternative.... is a NO!

maybe she has a bf and she doesn't want her phone blowing up

this board seems to really overthink things.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

That whole contact me on FB Messenger was a big red flag. As in she put up another barrier. Now she just wants to focus on her business, get you as an orbiter, and only see her boyfriend while getting attention from you that said boyfriend doesn't provide.

Just delete her. Sounds like an escort. She's not that attractive anyway.

I would probably hit her up on FB as she requested, with the view that she might be protecting herself out of fear.

This would be made up for later when you let her know that to continue, you will require her phone number. If she likes you, she will gladly give it to you. If she hedges, she's out.

Woah...2/8 replies saying she's a hooker bc she won't give out her number over social media? LOL WTF SOSUAVE.:rofl:

OP, you got emotionally butthurt and put your mind into rejection mode when she declined giving you her number. Remember, a phone number is just a tool. You got so hung up on that meaningless rejection for complying with your request, that you forgot she told you she's down to meet up.

Forget the number. The meetup is the goal. Message her again, make plans to see each other. You'll quickly know after the first date if she's interested.

no it's that she only gives out her private personal phone number for "business inquiries"

what kind of business does she run where she doesn't feel the need to have a business phone and takes her calls personally? does she not talk to her friends or not have them?

unless she's just lying with a horrible choice of words (in which case that's an instant next because lying to you is zero interest) then she's probably a hooker with low interest lol

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
