"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I might as well post this.

Ok, so this girl who I had a bunch of classes with last year and whom I hardly ever talked to left me some wild ass myspace comment out of nowhere. She wrote a long ass comment about some teacher me and her made fun of and gave me her screename and email and wanted to know if I was in any classes with her. She finished it with xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox's and like a muah. It came out of nowhere which is whats so weird.

Anyway, what do you guys think of this and your opinions on how to respond. I have an idea how to, its just with aim, if I go to far on it, i fu,ck everything up. haha thanks

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Alright lets see if I can try my hand at a better response. I have nothing against myspace it comes in very useful. And that comment you got great for you man! It's nothing to overanalyze maybe she threw you an IOI. Just do the usual methods to build her attraction and ask her out. If you mess up and/or get rejected its not a bad thing!!! Rejection is good.... at least thats how i see it.... (though it doesn't happen often to me, You'd be surprised how hard it really is to get rejected!!) rejection can be a great learning Experience!! Good Luck with the girl man!!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

well she wrote to you about a teacher you were bagging on to have a funny conversation with you.
why would she want to do that? perhaps she likes you a little.

she gave you her screen name and email address so you would contact her again. subtle isnt it? perhaps she likes you a little.

she asks you if you are in any classes with her now, so she can see if she will be able to grab a seat next to you. why? perhaps she likes you a little.

xoxoxoxoxox = i like you
muah = kiss

what part didnt you get yet?

Hah, good on ya buddy.

Either way, have a chat to her. Follow it up if you like, and let us know how it turns out.

Good luck :)

EDIT: Added a smile. Gotta do that more often :D

Send her a message and put your screen name in the message. Be like .whats up blah blah blah Hey my screen name is ______ ;-]. If she im's you she is interested. This is a great way to find out if she is interested at all. If she wants you she can come and get you.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
