Weird, but probably common problem.

Ok, so I've been talking to this girl pretty often. We wanted to meet up so we met at a restaurant. I brought a friend and she brought a friend too. I have no problem talking to girls, so that's not where the problem lies. She was really flirty with me, I could tell she was interested. The problem is, she is just coming out of a breakup and I made the mistake of kissing her. All I did was kiss her and then we left.

Ever since that night, she seems a lot more distant. I don't regret kissing her, I even warned her before I did it because I know the situation she is in and I didn't want to piss her off by just going for it. The thing is, she let me do it but now she continuously tells me that she "needs more time" and she is always "busy". She also complains and says it would be "weird" dating me since I'm going to college and she will still be in high school. Usually, I would tell her that if that's her choice, so be it, but I find it hard to just move on from this one. Any input or advice? Go ahead and criticize me on all I did wrong too. I like it :crackup:

there's basically nothing more you can do. any other contact you make with her will just come off as desperate and annoying. doesn't mean you dont have a chance, it just means you have to take her up on what she said and give some space. she might call you in a week or so, might not. I just went through a similar situation this weekend it really pissed me off because i like the girl a lot but at this point theres really nothing left you can do.

Turns out we were both at the same place at the same time and she begged me to come see her before her movie started, but I didn't. Then she told me to meet her after, so I did and she was with her sister and her new boyfriend hahahahaa
