"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was just sitting here listening to some music, thinking about random things. And I wondered if this would be effective...

Im a senior in high-school and I talk to females often in class. I wanna know what your thoughts are on this...

Say we are sitting in class and I got a HB laughing and feeling free around me, it seem's all to easy but...would saying "We need to hangout soon" or something very similiar to that be effective?

This was more of a spur of the moment thought, and I began to wonder why I dont do this already.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Try to avoid using "hang out". She will tend to see you as more of a friend. Instead, actually come up with an idea and say something along the lines of, " I'm going to bla....it'll be fun, want to come?" 99% of the time, if she's interested, she will say yes.

I disagree. How often do you go somewhere by yourself where you would take a girl with you?

You have to say HANG OUT but imply that its a date sort of thing.

Hell, people will tell you both ways.

Man, I joke around all the time, so I'll say, 'So, do you want to go do whatever, it'll be like a date!'. Chicks love it though, but I'm a high energy person so it's a joke at the same time.

This one time, me and this girl made up a word for a date, it wasn't 'date', but it was like...our own word, we'd be going on a 'somethingdate'

I wish I could remember. -_-

"we should hang out sometime" is fine if you're leading to something very specific at the moment.

you:we should hang out sometime
her: totally. that would be awesome
you: cool. We should (mention something particular, like see a band) on friday. (don't be afraid to ask for a weekend night. That implies date. Which is good)
Her: that sounds like fun
You: it will be. Give me your number and I'll work out tickets for the show.

See, "we should hang out" is really vague. It works better to get the number and be specific about things.

Understand that if you set up something one on one with a girl she's going to assume that it is a date. Because it is. So that's how you turn "we should hang out" into a date.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I agree with everyone that posted already, however i use "hang out" a lot. For me it all comes down to body language, if she's showing me she's attracted to me, it doesn't really matter what i say, as long as i get her out on that date.

I like using that line "we should hang out" because its not very threatening, and there is very little chance that she will shoot you down.
