tesla invented the radio
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
This is CLASSIC marketing. And, sadly, they're counting on your desire to believe it to stop you from thinking critically about it.Labourer said:...
so it's not marketing BS, just positive thinking!!
I agree with your attitude. If we hope to improve our intelligence and wisdom we must question everything and never accept anything blindly.People watch them and blindly accept everything that is spoonfed to them without even an ounce of critical thinking. Makes me depressed.
it hasn't stopped me thinking critically about it at all, but I like to keep an open mind, you say classic marketing, exactly what is it marketing? as far as I can see, it's trying to make you look at things differently than you do now, not stop ability to judge ideas negatively and positively.whistler said:This is CLASSIC marketing. They don't promise you anything...only what you promise yourself.Jariel said:No offence to the original poster, and thanks for sharing, but this is like a majority of self-help books I've read. They promise incredible things, then leave you without any real facts or instructions, except "think positive".
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
This is where I disagree. I can think and act positive sitting in my chair playing computer games, but this isn't going to help me get rich, successful or confident, as suggested by these "get rich", "get successful" or "get confident" courses.squirrels said:And "think positive" is enough. That and "act positive".
I strongly doubt that. "Positive" does not mean "absence of effort" or "most comfortable". If your goal is to get rich or get laid, then sitting around playing computer games is the furthest thing from positive.Jariel said:I can think and act positive sitting in my chair playing computer games,
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
read this...http://www.rotten.com/library/bio/mad-science/jakob-bohme/squirrels said:This is an interesting read, too...it's from a site that talks about end-world scenarios and it talks a little bit about string theory...the idea that particles aren't particles at all, but are actually just vibrations of multidimensional strings that manifest themselves in our universe:
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
