Video Message

When your Long term girlfriend is out of the country for her birthday, what do you guys make of recording & sending a video message as part of her present?

Sending by post I mean, not by internet.

And I don't mean anything really lovey dovey, or anything sexual either. Just a pleasant wishing her a good day simple message that lasts only a minute or two.

Lame or alright?

I'd just give her a call, but if you want to make a video then do it.

well, only reason why i'm considering it is because we won't see eachother again until September, so it's a long wait.

well, I don't really know enough about your relationship (or the girl in question) to make a particularly sound judgement. But again, I'd probably just go for the call.

However, provided that you two have a good, equal relationship (with high IL on her part) I don't see any real problem with a video. She might think it's sweet.

Just do what feels right, and if you feel you're going further than she would (in terms of amount of affection), then stop.
