That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

To be fair though fagbook is probably not the best place to walk off the cathedral reservation. As much as I detest PC leftist intolerance, in this case mixed thinking. They are called "GIs" for a reason, and whereas this does not specifically counteract their rights, their rights are definitely not the same as average citizens' while they are in service. If this took place after he had left the military, of course it's a violation. Would have to do more research to know whether the govt is within its rights here.

An ex of mine is now a high-ranking Army officer. She always said that the Constitution did not apply to service members, because they signed away those rights. Now that anyone can be dubbed an 'enemy combatant' and stuck in Guantanemo indefinitely without a trial, I would think that statement is even more true.
