"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Hello,

Im new to this whole idea of asking for help from people I do not know and what not...

But I need help very bad, I have been very confused! please help

The problem

I have fallen in love with my best friend, who is a girl, her name is jessica, we have been friends for over 2 years, and I have liked her on and off while we have been friends, but i have always been more concerned about are relationship as friends instead of a couple. I have not felt this way for her beofre, this is a new feelings...

I dont want to ruin the friendship, but i know where very good friends so I wonder if telling her would even matter, because we have gone through hader times togeather!

In the end, I dont know what to do, I have made her feel special, made her feel like she is the only one that matters in my life, which is true!

I need help, I think about her way to much...

We went out yesterday august 8th, And i took her out for a nice dinner, we had alot of fun togeather, she told me everything because me and her havnt talked in a while(she went to camp) and she tells me about doing things with this guy, and she sounded like she really wanted to do it, and likeshe had alot of fun... But then I tell her that is disapointing alittle bit, and then she is like "oh well i regert it now"...

Im only sure of thing atm, im sure that im very very confused, and i know nothing else

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

dude dude dude, i might be new here, but i did the exact same thang when i was an AFC, i dated a good friend and now we aren't really even talking tat much. u can't say "hey i like u, let's be together." u gotta give her little signs tat u like her and if she responds the right way and she says she wants u, then go for it, but if she says nothing, dont go for it. basically, wut i mean is give her signs, but she has to be the first one to directly do somethang. thats jsut me. i hope this helps u man.

Well I would rather have a friend then a girlfriend. Just do whatever you want, but beware that once you decide that you want to take your relationship further, you can't go back. I would just stay friends.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I was in that exact same situation (on both ends actually). My friend, Anna, is probably one of the elite girls. One of those girls that no one can get with (and I am not just saying that, she has 3 guys to her name). One piece of advice, cause I am hardly anything close to a DJ, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU C0CK BLOCK. I never did that, no one should ever do that, that is one of the ****est things to do.

Sorry if it's a little too late but i wouldnt do that because just look at it this way, most people who tried hookin up with their reall close friend ended up not talking for a while, so take that into consideration

Where ever I am
I would HIGHLY suggest against it. The best thing you can do is date other people.
If you are best friends then she will deffidently know. If she has feelings for you then she will probaly make it more obvious. IF she does not (which is the probale case) have feelings for you then you won't care as much beacuse your dating other people.

Ah ha, well thx guys, Im really glad you guys helped me out! I am alot less confused, and Now I know what to do!

WOOT WOOT:D

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
