"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So some chick that broke up with me like a month ago, just wished me happy bday today. Another year older. I haven't spoken or said anything to her since then. No Contact challenge!

Should I respond with anything, if so what?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I did like her, but have been back on the scene for 2 weeks and I have 3-4 women on me now. I love that feeling and no pressure.

She will NEVER get ego validation from me again, you guys warned me on this and were right. i sh!t the bed on that one. Lesson learned.

So what would you guys say to this:

So how would you respond to her bday wish? She said happy bday old man;)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

No. There is no need to respond to history.

What do you normally do when someone wishes you a happy birthday? Whatever that is do that, because it is who you are. If you intentionally don't respond to her because she broke up with you, then you are letting her dictate your behavior. If you don;t care that she is gone, then you are not going to act different. Bible_Belt is right

Don't reply if you know you are vulnerable to reply once she start asking questions about you.

The fact that she's wishing you a happy birthday is in my opinion to get news from you.

I wouldn't reply. But if you do, do as amoka said a simple thank you then go ghost. She is trying to see id she can suck you in and feed her ego.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Respond to say "thank you" and nothing more.
This is the best response, extends common courtesy and shows you're not bitter. No need to create unnecessary friction. The exception is if she's actually a bad person and you truly want nothing to do with her, in which case she should have already been blocked.
