Up in the Air - Movie

I don't know if this has ever been discussed on here before but has anyone seen 'Up in the air"?

(Spoilers): Succesful guy loves his single career life going about his sh!t happy as can be but constantly being questioned by women about his 'abnormal' life priorities. So eventually he thinks ok, let's see what the deal is with normal society expectations. Gets oneitis, rocks up at her door and BAM she has a husband and kids, guy is burned.

Maybe I missed key messages in this movie, what I took from this was do what makes you happy not what fairytale society expects of you, rather refreshing for Hollywood I thought.

I don't know if that movie actually tries to make a point. It just tries to be ironic. The guy finally decides to settle down, yet the girl he wants is not available.

he movie also shows the hypergamous side of the woman. she is married, has kids, a good career....and yet, get involved with a fellow male traveller! she is the real DJ, theAFC is none other than mR DJ himself, G Clooney!
a bit of a power trip for the girls as he crashes and burns from being ...up in the air

So true, she's is the gamer there. Clooney was a happy man with goals before the ladies started f*!king with his head!
