If a girl couldn't get her mind off me all day, I'd wonder if she had anything better to do but mope around daydreaming. That might be cute to some AFC's out there, but in the reverse situation, girls do not want to think that the guys have no lives outside of them. By saying that you couldn't get your mind off her all day shows that you had nothing better to think about besides her and makes you seem desperate. Cut the mushy crap since you probably weren't doing it anyways.
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Girls give off this impression that they want a guy that thinks about them all the time, that's sweet, and caring but I think that's bull****. They want a guy with a life.
