Not sure how you would survive going 13,000 mph or how you would have any time to react if things went off course, but apparently a new type of oblique wave detonation engine allows for it.

When you start seeing the technology being developed by the private sector, have to wonder what the US military already has in it's arsenal that it hasn't unveiled yet.
