"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Trying to get a chick that's 'seeing someone'

Yo guys, hoping for some advice on this current female. Met her couple weeks back, we clicked great, got her number, been texting/talking on the phone, things were going great. She was giving me strong vibes that she liked me, and even hinted a couple of times. I decided to put myself out there (AFC, I know I know) and told her I wanted to get to know her as more than friends. She then tells me she's "seeing" some other dude, but otherwise she would have. I ask her who this guy is, and it turns out to be some **** that I hate. She also knows he's slept with other girls while he's been "seeing" her. Guessing it's my turn to be a ****, I now wanna bang this chick's brains out more than ever, just for personal satisfaction. Things haven't been weird between us and she's still giving me vibes of digging me. She's on holiday now so I figured it'd be some perfect no contact time, and she's back on Saturday. Any tips how to go about getting this girl who's so adamant about this man she's seeing verbally but is giving me these physical signals? Cheers bro's

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Well based on stuff I've read I'd say you pressed the fail button when you said "I want to get to know you as more than friends". That's straightforward and logical talk. It kills any emotions or attraction that she has for you because women don't respond sexually to logic. If you kept talking to her on an emotional level, getting her excited, then suggested you wanted to get to know her more in an emotional way then maybe she would respond better.

Droz888 has a point. It's best to show a girl with your actions that you like her rather than tell her. That just gives the game away but you realized your mistake and learned from so that's good. If she's "seeing" someone it doesn't necessarily mean that they are exclusive. I'd say keep talking to her and keep trying to push the envelope but keep it playful. You can get away with murder if you keep it playful.

why would you want to get with someone already in a relationship? at best you will get her, but what does that exactly say about her?

let them be and find an unattached one.

One thing I've learned from reading these forums is that any woman can suddenly not be in a relationship if a bigger and better guy comes along. I don't necessarily think that's true but many here seem to have bought into it.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

True, perhaps.

But why waste your time chasing someone who has already turned you down? I stupidly did it once, and it is not worth your time and effort.

Never verbally tell a woman you like her and want to take it to the next level. That's her job.

Also, ALL women are seeing someone. The very fact that she told you that should override all positive vibes that she gave you. She's just not that into you. Your princess is in another castle.

Case closed. Actions speak louder than words.

I hear you bro. I realized that she ain't that into me. But I been getting bored lately of banging these chicks and wanted to switch it up a little, see if I can get a baited fish. But maybe it's not worth the trouble...

Tell her about the other chicks you're banging, like she's a pal. Let her meet any that are hotter than she is.

Women attract women.

When a woman is single you have the whole world to compete with. When a woman is in a relationship you only have one person to compete with.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I learned a long time ago that what a woman says and what a woman does can be completely different.

If a woman is giving you IOI's but mentions that she is "seeing" someone, all that is, is what's known as plausible deniability.

By her telling you this, she feels she's done her job and is morally exempt from anything that will happen further with you.

Just ignore it and game her like you would anyone else... there's a good chance she will hook up with you. In her mind she will rationalize it as "not being her fault" because she told you she was seeing someone.

If that doesn't make sense, just ask yourself.... do women?

I feel you man. I'll start filling her in, with all the explicit details included ;)

I've had the same experiences as you. I did think this was some kind of test, for her to see how far I was willing to go, but I wasn't too sure and really can't be bothered to get kicked out of uni for having a fight with a guy because of her girl. She's not worth that.
