Being single is fine. But staying single forever is cope.

Being single has its pros and cons just like being in a relationship.

Some guys have a preference for one or the other.

The best of both worlds I think is to live on your own, have a girlfriend that is not clingy, lives on her own as well and to catch up on average once a week, maybe more at times e.g. occasional weekends away.

This leaves you enough independence and freedom to do your own thing, spin plates if you want and to exit the relationship without legal complications if it isn’t working out.

Many girls won’t settle for this arrangement long term though.

One of the things you'll find out about staying single is that you'll learn a lot about yourself and women from the outside. Now I don't want to make any claims, but staying single has helped me analyze what the 1000 **** stare means, even though I've never been able to understand the real difference, between that look and the one girls will have when they're really attracted to you.

Sometimes there are girls who are really attracted to you, and they'll have that look, just because they're attracted to you. Have you ever noticed? They become empty or they look at you that way, because they want you.

So that doesn't help much to understand either.
But I'm doing my best

I’ve never had a GF that would tolerate a 1xweek meet. At least 3-4/week.

During the official boyfriend - girlfriend phase, the couple is getting together around 3 days a week. They are maintaining separate residences during this phase. This is a good phase. This is the phase that I like best.

This phase doesn't last forever. There's some good discussion that can be had around the idea of how long this phase can last. With others in my social circle, this phase didn't last more than a few years before a cohabitation phase and/or a marriage phase.

The majority of my social circle did an unmarried cohabitation phase before marriage.

It's very attractive to be seen as very busy.

But then when they move in together, women realize that in reality their man was not as busy as he wanted to make them believe. He was just making himself unavailable to increase her sense of lack.
