Sorry for the delay but I just caught this thread.
There have always been a few women posters on this forum. Some will only ask a few questions and eventually get bored of the site and stop logging in. Others of us stumble in and stay because there really isn't another forum like it.
I grew up here. I met some of my best friends here. I also met my husband here.
I haven't been on here daily for a few years now. It's not you guys, y'all are great. It's just I was busy prioritizing work, home, husband, kids.
An update for you guys- the older 3 kids have all graduated. One graduated basic and is training in my father's footsteps with the 101st and will be deployed in the next year.
One is in nursing school and has gotten married and has had to move across the country to where my new son in law is stationed. The youngest has been acting out and seems to be much better now.
I turned 40 yesterday.
So, it's been busy for me.

I may not be able to log in daily but I do try to come in and post when I can.

the women who come here are usually pretty nice people and fair minded, unicorn status in that regard. A good breath of fresh air for those of us in the game.

I dunno....you kind of expect this from post wall women. Most are 15/20+ years post wall too. Wiser by necessity not by virtue.

If you had hot 22 year olds here talking like LiveYourDream then you might have a point. But that's not the case at all.

40? I don't even remember 40, lol.
I do remember one thing about my 40s though, they were basically the same thing as my 30s.
