Didn't kill anyone but some friends and I got into a bar fight when we were drunk and nearly killed this guy. BS if you are in the U.S. What were you crossing state lines while doing it? You would have been sent to state prison.

Not in the states, in Canada any sentence 2 years + is federal time. In Canada they don't really care about drug crimes that much but very strict on violence. Mostly I got screwed over by a bad lawyer and bad judge who was secretly on his death bed and had cancer, but trying to explain how I got such a long sentence is retarded because even people inside the jail were like wtf you got a massive sentence when there are people that have done way worse and gotten half the time. So basically I just got ****ed for no good reason. Even my P.O. thinks I should've gotten maybe 2 years.

Sounds like she gave you a "cold reading". Maybe she was reading this site or The Game.

I think you could give anyone a cold reading such as "I feel like you have a secret past" and you'll find most people reaching back into the recess of their minds examining any skeletons from the past or any "wrong doings" that they did and thinking "damn how did she know that?"

You'd be surprised how many people would offer up a few past 'sins' or write a confessional...

Some BS brother. Some dudes I know were in a gang known as "TDK" and were rolling with Ak-47's in their vehicle at my age. They were dealing coke, molly and weed got caught with all that plus the weapons under the age of 18. Got 2 years.

Minors take a far less offense than adults. Gotta keep that in mind.

True that, I committed some offences when I was a minor that would've landed me jail time and instead I got probation and community service . Anyway, having committed crimes is nothing to brag about and I am ashamed of what I did and that's why I don't like to tell people about it, I guess I'm a bit of a coward in that regard.

Not sure how Canadian prisons are, but American prison's DO change you once you get it, if you get out that is.
