The way I see it, trying to have a "platonic relationship" with a girl you are attracted to would not be worth the trouble because the sex part will always be in the way. The only way having female friends works is if:

1. You do not find her attractive

or

2. You are going out with or banging someone hotter than she is

if you have a friend who is attractive, there must be an alterior motive, there has to be. For starters, the only reason your likely to talk to an attractive girl in the first place, is because you want to bang her. When does anybody look at a fitty and say "I want to be her friend" it doesnt happen, im not saying that female friends dont work as social proof, i just cant see the logic in making friends with a female for thjat purpose, unless she is unnatractive.

Secondly, what happens when you decide you want to bang your frind, because ultimatley thats going to happen, theres no point avoiding it, because at some point, you are going to want to bang your attractive female friend, then she's no longer your friend, she becomes your "love interest". which ulitmatley leads to oneitis.
gettin to the second point now, even if you are banging someone hotter, lets face it, weve all had the "id bang her" conversation, i dont think there are 2 ways about it, a bloke is guided by his penis and is unlikley to turn any girls down because "Shes his friend".

Yes, you can have aquaitances for social proof, theres nothing wrong with that, wotsoeva, just dont call them your friends because they arnt they are essentially, "chicks you know" these arent your friends they just gilrs you talk too, you dont take a chick to a footie game or arrange to go out drinking with the birds, thats fundametally wrong, if the girls are there, you talk to them, and you have a laugh, but under no circumstance do you call these girlsd your friends, if anything, they are potential shaggs, and should be treated as such.

I have some girl friends. Let me give examples:

One of them is saving me $$$ on some stuff. Another one is helping me out with credit **** and stuff. I can go on and on.

But, if you have these "friends" and they are giving nothing back to you except the great oportunity to go shop together, watch desperate housewives together, and all that amaaaazing fun stuff, I don't see a reason to hang around. It's not that it's THAT bad, it's just that there are other things that are much more productive.

I said it before and I will say it again. Female friends make lousy friends. A woman tends to think with her emotions when she picks her "friends". If there is no attraction there for her, then your sole purpose is to entertain her and make her happy as oppose to fvcking her, which will make you happy.

Having female friends will not make you better with women because they are not attracted to you and therefore will not put you through sh1t tests or be slightly apprenhensive about you. Most of the guys who came to this site were as a result of being comfortable around a female friend to a point where they end up liking her. You end up like one of the girlfriends in her eyes.

I remember Pook once said that he can't have any more female friends because it gotten to a point where they all try to fvck him in the end and if he refused then they would act up and pull some sh1t like an AFC guy would.

When you are friend with a female you are her puppet and she runs the show. If you ran the show then it means that she would consider fvcking you and terminate this so called "Platonic Friendship" Charade. Most guys who say that they like female friends and are not attracted to them always pick HOT FEMALE FRIENDS. I have yet to meet a guy who has prospects that is dying to hang around an ugly female friend. Why not you ask? because any guy would rather hang around a female he would fvck later then just a female who will hug him in the end of the day like he is her godamn brother.
