She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I am not on anyone's side. That is really immature.ketostix said:Iqqi, who side are you on? Hmm, thinks back to iqqi's condescending posts in the "Love Shack fiasco". Then a poster "Iqqi", goes over and posts on LS, with the same defiant, condescending attitude. Hmm, that's a tough one!
GET NEW BATTERIES!!I just have a very good BS detector. And you may have fooled reset and other nice people on here, but you don't fool me for one second.
Cheers, I'm a laff riot.HOMBRE said:Why would I do that?
Oh and I laughed at your comment earlier but neglected to acknowledge it. At least someone around here has a sense of humor!
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
You mean you'd frantically press your 'alert us' buttons and your pet Mods would silence us?HOMBRE said::crackup:   In your dreams, sweetie. Wow, this is a trip...too funny. No wonder some of you didn't last on LS. We'd chew you up and spit you out! ahaha
You're getting played dude, she's trying to turn you dudes against me. I'm really, really hurt and threatened by it. Maybe she thinks I'm more receptive and is appealing to my ego.ketostix said:I had a lot of hope for you Reset, but this ended all that hope :woo: .
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Yup, she's toast. I'm putting it on ignore as well. Adios b!tch.Latinoman said:Hombre ignored me (see post #68 )
Good for her as I owned her too.
Yeah LOL they want a play ball with one-sided referees and everytime they lose a play they yell foul to their refs..Nighthawk said:You mean you'd frantically press your 'alert us' buttons and your pet Mods would silence us?

I am just keeping it real.
I hope noone got offended, but then again I'm not going to sugarcoat it, why would you want me to.
Interceptor, sorry I offended you, but sometimes you DO come across as kind of phony when you start off saying one thing, but then you get into something else altogether, it does kind of seem like you are trying to pull a fast one, and while that approach works well with a lot of people, and with others it just doesn't fly.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Not working. If you can't see through that, don't know what to say.
Beware of the fake pic. That's not too bad, you can almost see up her dress some. But they're going to have to do better than that.Nighthawk said:All the ladies of Loveshack are putting up their pics for us. Here's Kamille - be quick

Is that what it was? Could be. Either way she's playing us off each other and I've been here way too long and known you guys too long to bite.ketostix said:I'm just messing with you. She actually trying to play you and get you on her side and turn you against us. I see that you realize she's up to playing someone. I knew this all along. This female tactic is so common and old hat  .
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
