"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

(I intended to PM the majority of this to Sammo in a conversation I was having.. But I opted not to and further devoloped my thoughts)

The truth is a tough thing, man. One of the toughest things in the world. It takes a man to look at truth in the eyes, and not break away.

The truth is the damn scariest thing imaginable. People will tell you that they fear the unknown... Not true.... People fear the unknown truth.

We all get into a pattern with our lifestyle and try to keep our feet on the ground. We try to latch onto certain objects to make certain that we have a clear scope of reality. You base your life and your understandings on a simple mathematical formula deriving from your attempt at making sense of the infinite shades of grey.

I wish that life was black and white, that I could now honestly tell people that there was a high road or a low road; a certainty to our life.

Time is change and denial of change is change in self.

Time changes what the truth is... Your brother can stab you in the back, or you can become 'hot ****'.

The only certainty is of uncertainty.

The truth man… The truth….

I swear to you, the truth is the number one motivator. The truth is what makes you fxcking cry at night.

Men who abuse their wives… In trial, do you know what their explanations are for hitting them?

“She talked back!”
“She refused to make dinner!”

No one ever comes out and says:

‘Well, I got irrationally angry as a result of the alcohol content in my blood. I was looking for a reason to beat the **** out of her, and she looked at me the wrong way… so I figured that justified my actions. Really, it’s not her fault at all. I am the one to blame, completely guilty.”

That’s the truth bro… The truth is like trying to gum down granite.

Making a negative realization is opening up the truth… and when the truth comes to kick you in the ass… A DJ acknowledges it wholeheartedly, while the AFC is crying in his pillow.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Sorry nope, I am prefectly fine with the example.

I am just saying that at least part of my AFC "behavior" was influenced by my Dad's action and myself saying "I'll never turn out like him, I'll treat her 1000 times better".

That is all.

(I'll go edit the other post)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Bump.

The truth is that you have a lot more girls willing to be your girlfriend then you think, you just have to express your interest. The truth is ugly as well, the motive behind their attraction is not compiled of affection but of insecurity.

I liked this post Smooth, excellent work.

No offense to you, but it seems like you're getting a little over-philosophical.

I can fear possibilities that aren't true.
