"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I remember wearing a suit to the shopping mall in my 20s, I was decent looking then, I had looks from women. Which I didn't do nothing.

I'm in my mid 30s now, the only way to tell is to test this in field.

I have a feeling if I wore a nice trendy suit, this could work. I've got back to the gym, so I'll have nice definition.

If I do get looks, should I introduce myself, do kino, do some small talk and then get her number?

Its time to take chances now

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sounds interesting.

I considered doing the same. I don't think I ever wore a suit aside from one occasion as a kid.

Frankie Muniz has thrown on a suit several times over the course of his public life, yet has always been less of a panty dropper than David Duke has been a formidable political leader, anytime after the early 90s

Your thinking and approach will have to be smidge more capacious than it currently is, hombre

The old sayings seem trite sometimes but they are usually timeless, universal truths. We have often heard, “Clothing makes the man.” I maintain that clothing can completely override average looks. That’s how powerful your suit of armor is.
Usually as a man ages he gets more relaxed in his wardrobe. He dresses more and more casually, and gradually erodes his projection of self-respect. Women definitely notice this.
It’s so easy to rise above the “competition”. Good grooming and a well-fitting wardrobe scream to the world, “I respect myself”. People will always agree with what you project about yourself. Self-respect demands other-respect.
You don’t need expensive clothing and you don’t need a suit necessarily. Just clean, well fitting clothing is enough. In addition, shoes are vitally important. The very next thing a woman notices about you after your face is your shoes. Then they scan up for your overall “look” and that tells them all they need to know.
Those who know me from years ago know that I frequently preached about invisibility. Most men are invisible to quality women. They are objects to walk around like a garbage can or parking meter. They are filtered out immediately because they don’t project self-respect. I know because I used to be an object to walk around. A neat presentation makes one visible which is a huge advantage.
Here I find myself preaching on SS like days of old. It’s true what the song says. You can check out, but…

@Atom Smasher "We have often heard, “Clothing makes the man"

One's apperance is definitely a powerful weapon in one's arsenal. OP sounds as if he believes that simply throwing on a suit is going enhance his allure by magnitudes though. Can't help but think his thinking is exaggerated

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I like suits but all suits are not equal and you can still look scruffy in an ill-fitting, crumpled, dirty suit. In that sense a suit is like any other clothing.

A nice, well-cut, smartly pressed suit can, however, look great. The key thing, however, is be in shape and your suit will flow and drape well. If you're overweight, you won't look good no matter how expensive the suit. You'll just be another fat guy in a suit.

What colors do you guys wear? I imagine black probably doesn't fit on most occasions?

Materials probably wool?

Is ordering online an option or do you buy from stores? Maybe even custom tailored?

A suit can come across as trying too hard or look out of place, especially at a mall, so I wouldn't recommend it.

However, you can use it later, once attraction has been established, to surprise her and make a stronger impression. Dressing differently for a date than you normally do can make the experience feel more special.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

some are often in suit. when you have one on it suggests your one of them.... make sure it fits, shoes should match. if your going to be seen in your car, it should match.... hair (or not...) and grooming should match. be congruent.

its ok to be in a place where it is not the normal dress, you might be coming from or going to a place that it is expected. that's the idea; to suggest your one of them.

you should know how to stand and walk..

don't just be hanging around, and don't act shy. a man in a suit is not shy, and is either doing, coming or going.

Navy blue and chacoal grey are the best two to start with inasmuch as they do everything that a black suit does but they're more versatile too. Material depends on the climate where you are. Wool comes in different weights but linen is better if you are in the tropics.

That's true but suits can be more or less formal or casual. A structured, plain worcestered suit and sombre tie is really a business look. An unlined suit with texture and/or pattern, patch pockets and soft shoulders is more casual, especially with a button-down open-collared shirt.

I just hope you have a backstory for this. Went to a funeral, need it for work, etc. Otherwise, why would you be in a suit? Also, skip the tie, ties have become the new formal.

With that said - a good suit goes a long way.

Go for it. The suit might give you additional confidence. Just approach, analyze it later.

And best state your intent from the get go, instead of being suspicious. They will know why you are talking to them anyway. (Unless it's the workers.)

"Hey, you look nice, I came to meet you."

Saves so much time.

I have a friend that wears suits when he goes out. He looks great and it helps draw women to him. The problem is those suits convey he is wealthy and it attracts the wrong type of woman, unless you are into women seeking financial gain. Don't forget women are always looking for congruency, so you need to be the man that wearing a suit conveys.

I remember when our high school football coach / history teacher told us that he would tell women, that he came over to talk to them. We kind of laughed at him, but he was right.

Inside her mind
In my 20s I use to wear suites all the time for nights out late 2006-2009 the style back then in my area was business casual for clubs (that's the only way you got in) slacks, blazers, polo button ups and sweaters etc....

My style hasn't changed that much because it's timeless but nowadays I'm far more casual since I go out mostly local

I have a friend of mine who met his wife this way. He had a nice job, which required him to wear a suit every day, and he went to the mall to eat lunch at the food court in the mall. A girl dropped her number off at his table without saying a word.

The problem in the OP is why would he wear a suit just to go to the mall? My buddy had a legit reason. I guess some guys just walk around in suits every day, but it would be a little odd where I live, unless like I said it's for work.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
