I don't even know this world in English. To be swayed by, to be conducted by... Вестись.. In simplest form that's when your actions are effected by actions of another. For example, you are in traffic and this car ahead of you is driving rather slow, you decide to take him over, and maybe even cut him off and hunk at him. Your actions were affected by that driver.

At a store there could be a blond seller explaining to a blond customer for 30 minutes how to use her iphone 4, while you are waiting in line with your business, as a result your emotional state changes, you might even change your balance from left to right foot regularly and act annoyed.

A blond might walk by at first acting interested and you go for it and stare at her, but then as she walking next to you she suddenly has to check her time or look the other way.

A cop or a security guard or maybe a life guard at the beach stands up and get everyone's attention, and your attention as well, you stand up and listen very carefully............maybe the big emergency was that the toilet is clogged or something.


In any case, to be swayed or to be conducted by is when you reacting according to actions of others. This is a big thing in espionage and mafia, and in our everyday lives. Obviously the more educated you are, the less you gonna fall and act upon others actions.

The more educated once will analyze actions of others and decide what to do before doing it.

I think op means not reacting to stupid sh*t. Pretty much the feeling you get when your soo tired and sleepy you don't have the energy and attention to deal with anything that's not important.

It's all under maintaining frame and or keeping composure. Like when your talking to girl or you approach one and it doesn't go well you don't react to the results. You keep your composure or ignore it. This is a strong quality for a man to posses and I believe it's called poise.

And don't even think about squidward from spongebob, he's too miserable to care.
