Well you could also say an alpha male doesn't follow society's rules of what it means to "mess up".

You only mess up if you do something that is not in line with our own values. You don't mess up when you do something not in line with a woman's values.

Some women VALUE loyalty and would say he is not the best man by virtue of having cheated.

Value doesn't exist in a vacuum. It's based on other things. You and I don't value the exact same things. Some guys would rather have a fat wife for 5 years than an HB9 for a month.

It's like saying "She's with him because HAPPINESS".

I don't support cheating. Just saying people will always stick to whatever they BELIEVE to be their best option. The more VALUE you hold in that person's eyes, the more you can get away with.

Of course. But forgiving someone is not the same as being ok with it.

A high VALUE man will get more chances. A low value men will be out the door the minute her ego is bruised.
