Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
That's not that bad. She knows she called you 8 times, obviously desperately. Even though you did break nc, you acted pretty normal. Which is great.count lustig said:ok boys,

Mike you cant think like that man. I was guilty of that for a while but it only makes things worse. Its all in your head and you let it happen wich means you can make it stop. Finially what i did was say hey if she is out doing that ...i cant stop it and were broken up. So go get laid and you wont feel bad. Thats what i did and did it alot for about 2 weeks or so. And remember we dont get the term HO if we bang alot of chicks haha. But day 29 here..thinkin abt hittin the lake up!mike465 said:Having a bad day...can't stop thinking about some other guy having his **** in her. My mind is going crazy right now
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
She said about how we haven't been in contact much recently. Not talking at all just seems to make her more annoyed with me. I told her when it ended that it was fine to be friends and now it's as if she's annoyed at me for (seemingly) completely accepting that.Mauser96 said:Mike465 - 3 mere days ago, on the 27th, you said this:
So, based on your ACTIONS - she knows she has you, and can have you back anytime she wants....which is why she never will.

You're a genius I'll give you that.Mauser96 said:The bottom line for YOU is: Am I happier staying in contact with her, or would I be happier NOT being in contact with her. THEN do what is best for YOU. To me, the answer is very clear. She wants you to be the marionette and she is the puppeteer

Our conversation wasn't finished. She got upset and hung up the phone before I got my point across.Mauser96 said:Good. THAT is what you said YOU wanted. Now you have it, heal and move on.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
