Well may Kipling have written "The Female is more deadly than the male" in the state I live in females are responsible for more domestic assaults than males.

It's more because I could beat the ever-living sh!t out of just about any woman who tried to mug me, so they just don't seem threatening.

Men are generally larger in physical size...and tend to learn to use that to their advantage socially, including criminally.

Women may be more violent, maybe not. They may be more cunning and manipulative, maybe not.

Statistics can sometimes present a skewed viewpoint. Their may be more domestic violence from women, but I think more men are serial killers, and I'm sure anybody with sufficient time can google up a sufficient amount of data to support either side of the argument.

If you know your boundaries, and respond appropriately when people cross them, everything should wash out.

i think men get tricked into believing that women are not capable of violence or evil simply because their first experience with a woman is generally of a compassionate and nurturing mother (to an extent, at least). All others are subconsciously compared to her.

Once you free yourself from this bias, it will seem much easier to judge them on an individual bases, as you won't have any expectations.

The bias of the gentle female is widespread, even in cultural anthroplogy. A good treatment of the subject is in "The Lucifer Principle," although I can't remember what chapter.

Those women that think they can actually beat up a man have sum serious issues too.
