"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Does anybody else here besides me get a blazing red flag go off in the head when a woman says her all-time favorite movie is Requiem for a Dream? It might be a marvel in cinematography but substantially, it's a nihilistic piece of trash that doesn't tell you what you don't know already about drugs and messing yourself up.
Also, I've observed many women express fantasies of being "rescued" from God-knows-what. One of them lives in a rich neighborhood, plays in an up-and-coming rock band, and has many, many men who would be eager to nail her. What is up with that nonsense?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I dont think you should judge a person based only on a movie they like.

Ya I know exactly what you're trying to get at and YES you canjudge a person by their favorite movie it says a lot about em.

"Requiem for a Dream" I totally agree about it was my Ex's favorite movie.

I watched it and thought it was frankly garbage. It put me in a bad mood and who the hell wants to watched something that puts you in a ****ty mood.

I could deduce that if a women likes this movie she:

is a drama queen and thrives for suffering and drama
likes to baske in negative situations

and could possibly:

feel helpless, feels lost, feels like life is one big suffer session

And to tell you the truth, this was exactly how it played out:

She created a drama situation, I dropped her ass immediately, she became obsessive calling me repetitively (53 times in one day) egging me on to be cruel and make her cry indirectly. Crying all the while.

so Requiem is definitely a red flag I agree
