The girl my friend (an AFC but not a bad one) likes said this to him 3 times already and she knew he liked her. However she hasn't given him any other signs. The problem is there is another AFC (a pretty bad one) pursuing her and he claimed that he n the girl were going out. What do u guys make of this?

It doesn't seem that there is any good connection with that girl to your friend for her to say something like that if she knows he likes him.
