So I was hanging out with my ex the other night. As we're getting ready to leave she kissed 2 of her guy friends goodbye on the lips (a little peck). WTF?!
She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
:nono:So I was hanging out with my ex the other night.
Exactly. If she's your X, you have no business hanging out with her. You have put yourself in that position, now you have to deal with it.Blusher said::nono:
She's your ex, why do you hang out with her?
Why would you give a **** what she does with other guys? She's your ex.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Somewhat. I'm kind of feeling her out to see if she's the right chic for me. I've been watching her behavior pretty close. I'm def not chasing her like that though. Still "sarging."Rondavu said:Maybe he's trying to get back with his ex?
Not exactly. But I am French and that's how I used to greet American tourists on a trip to Paris.Maybe she's European. I hear Europeans sleep with strangers as a way of greeting them.
(Sigh) I'll try to make a long story short.Blusher said:A more interresting question would then be : Why did you split up in the first place?

My side:
1. I was acting like a girly-man and not standing up to her
2. Communication
3. Being overly available and not being a challenge made her interest level drop
4. I failed too many of her "tests"
After reading a lot and finding this site I realized 1, 3, and 4.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
your acting like a girly man now, your the guy who posted about his mate GF having a male friend and your now the male friend, mmmm intresting how you look at things. Take a step back for a second and see the bigger picture here.HellHathNoFury said:(Sigh) I'll try to make a long story short.

Her side:
1. she felt that she was treating me like **** at times

Onitus at times man you have it now 24/7 it is plain to see.HellHathNoFury said:Yes I have been suffering from oneitis at times. After a month of drama I left her alone and cut off all contact for about a 2 weeks. She'd call and text and I wouldn't return them. She approached me when I was out telling me she missed me. I gave in and started banging her again, only on weekends. I'd never call her. She'd always text or whatever. At times it would seem like she's coming around. I've given her all sorts of ****, and take no more dookie from her. If I see something I don't like I tell her like it is.
