the drastic state of our formally fine forums

in the past months, we have been attacked by a wave of complaining threads, useless questions and general crap. most no one takes even the tiniest initiative to solve their own problems...they post something generally stupid ("how do i talk to girls??~?!?") and expect us, the established members, to answer their questions like we're some kinda crystal ball of female knowledge. people, these things are on the site. use the search feature.

of course, the whiners threads speak for themselves. i don't want to mention any names (as if i have to) but there are members here who contribute absolutely nothing, and have been for a long time. this is a community. we're not gonna carry you without you giving anything back other than annoyance and time wasted trying to read your poorly written threads. if someone shows on a regular basis that they are simply whiners or trolls, they should be banned. i, for one, refuse to give these people server space when they dont show any improvement and dont bother trying. go bother someone else.

these are rules. READ THEM.


the sosuave hs forums used to be a proud place where everyone contributed and people who indulged in the behavior above would be banned, have their threads deleted, or have their threads quickly shuffled to the bottom. i'm going to pm the mods about getting a mod just for this forum, but in the meantime lets do our best to just ignore the pathetic threads. if its a question being asked for its billionith time or a whiners thread, just dont reply. they'll dissapear down the list quickly.

while the whiner/dumb question asker threads are bad, the flamers are even worse. they keep threads like these going, and contribute even less (at least hearing a kid whine about his pathetic life is humorous). if you arent going to contribute to the thread and your reply is simply aimed at bringing down the person who wrote it, dont bother posting it. i know, i've flamed before too for useless things, but we need to make a resolution to stop doing things that doesnt better us as a forum. if any self respecting male who didnt need these forums visited them, we'd look like a bunch of retards who need lives. maybe some of you are, but as for me i dont want the forums to look like that. lets focus on being a bit less a*sholes and a bit more supportive.

No its really not that funny. Seeing their blissful ignorance is actually kinda sad. What makes it annoying is that they think WE have answers and by posting how much their life sucks, they think something is gonna change. If they could read certain things about where to start instead of read the bible, they might not be as attention craving.

i know its almost cliched and that people have been saying this for a long time, but the hs forums have really degenerated in my stay here. its just people arguing and people whining, i had to say something.

Too many I am guessing. These appear every couple of weeks and no one pays attention to them. Give it three days and people will be flaming newbies and harassing them.

Of course, if you guys promise you won't start pitching fits, I'm gonna start really enforcing the rules. But no complaints when I do, deal?

honestly too many threads would be closed if EVERY rule was enforced CONSTANTLY (aka...just because speed seduction tips are in the dj bible doesnt mean a thread about "how to get a girl in bed same day" should be deleted) but the threads i mentioned above...almost unreadable grammar, whiner threads, threads with general issues covered a million times (how do i get a girl to like me/!?>!) personally, i wouldn't miss those at all.

my vote: yes, enforce the rules

It's been a little over four years for me, but that is still long enough to know that this forum is continuing to go downhill. If people took the time to search the forums for the answer to their question (because it has been answered already, and you know it), or simply didn't post their pointless questions, we'd be better off. Also, forum trolls (they may actually be as stupid as they seem in their posts, but I doubt it) just need to be banned, no matter how amusing they are.

no starting arguments over unnecessary stuff. i used to have a life like yours. i dont anymore.

the bible points out necessary points of ****y and funny that will help diffuse bully situations. either that, or just avoid the bullies. its what i do.

Keep in mind that SoSuave focuses mainly on getting girls. This isn't a "self-help" forum where you just dump your problems and seek help. At least not to the best of my knowledge. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

SoSuave is a forum that deals is mainly girls,I agree but I ask these questions because you first have to work on your inner game(which for me includes depression,life,thoughts of suicide,parents mainly dad,how to be popular,not being bullied and other issues)so which means inner game comes first before you start focusing on the girls.What I learned on here is if your not happy with your life you won't be happy with a girl either,it may make things worser.

does it really matter what the current state of the board is? The information that is useful is already posted and archived. Can we realistically expect the contributions to be as useful as the beginning when there was no knowledge of the game?

of course it matters. we all have situations we dont know how to deal with, views on subjects that havent been stated and advice that comes to us only when helping others.
