Well, decided to check it out after months of no checking, and after this guy bought her a ring, house, and adopted her kids, they are now broken up, he is "single", and she is in a relationship! Couldn't make this **** up if I tried. :crackup:

He hasn't learned anything because she still has him by his nuts. Who knows what power she has over him if he really bought a house with her. I know for a fact they got a house but whether it's bought or rented I do not know. He may have made a lifelong mistake.

Marriage is a terrible idea for 75% of the population. I watched 6 close friends go through separations this year. They ranged from a poor couple with two kids, to a couple who made a combined $250,000 this year with one small child. Brainy or just plain stupid, divorce hits everyone and marriage is such a sham these days.

The lesson here is to never try to marry a woman who has a young child from a different guy. Notice I said "young". If the kid is like 16-17 and is ready to get out of the house and not cause too many issues, I think marriage is a better option...but the best option is to not wife up any girl who has a kid. I'd say it was better in the 1980's to do this, and a lot of people did and had success, but today's woman is so entitled, so hypergamous, so selfish, that is a massive risk. Case in point, the b!tch who just left the chump.

Was this woman married before? Don't ever marry a divorced chick. They have already proved that they can't make a marriage work, and what makes you think they'll be any different for you? Like many threads on this board, "b!tches don't change".

I learned the hard way, but I was smart enough to bail and not knock up my wife, who would have no doubt destroyed my life.

Some other rules to follow here:

1. If you are going to "wife-up" and get married, make sure you do it post age-28. Make sure you've known the girl at least 3-5 years and have had plenty of time to analyze their character. Get married young is just a stupid, stupid idea. Your 20's should be spent bangin' random broads and trying to establish your career and become a man.

2. If you are going to have kids, make sure you wait another 2 to 3 years after you have tied the knot. Girls can change a lot in that first year of marriage. Without significant mutual assets, you can still split from your wife and not owe her a dime. I owe my ex NOTHING.

This guy didn't knock her up, which I think would have eventually happened, in within a year, so his only loss was some $$$ and some sanity. I'd say this girl leaving him was maybe a gift in disguise.
