Pre-empt the whole situation and ask "Hey, are you single?" within the first minute or two. This puts you in the driver's seat rather than her.

Great advice, not only it puts you in the driver seat, but also says "Go fuvk yourself if you want me as a friend. I only am interested in you romantically." Always ask. It will also show her interest in you.Andy_Dufresne said:
