Master Don Juan
I put on my robe and wizard hat.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I like this one... the direct approach is good if you do it congruently. after the opener I usually start getting more and more direct. Do you use this often?Originally posted by HuuBinh
Seems that alot of DJs use the INDIRECT approach. The only likely issue is that she already knows your agenda. So, why mask your intentions?
I'd do a direct approach.
Slowly & confidently walk over.
Put hands on her shoulder and turn her to face me. (if her back is facing me)
Make deep EC, pause, with a slight smile
I'll say this SLOWLY AND DELIBERATELY: YOU LOOK (pause for the dramatic effects) ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! (slight smile), lets get to know each other better.
The mindset behind that line is not supplicating as many may think. It's a qualifier b/c I am communicating to her that I have chosen her.
The most important aspect of an approach isn't the line. It's how you deliver it with your confidence, BL, voice tone, sincerity & honesty, because they instantly create an emotional impact on her not some excuse to pick her up.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Sorry, it seems that some have understood... I just wanted to test to see if people actually had something prepared that they could say to a woman in a random scenario. You can't really plan a conversation too much longer than the 5 seconds, but it's usually within that timeframe that you are going to have to make a first impression and to have the girl comfortably continue the conversation with you.
There were quite a few interesting answers, some I could tell have likely never been used, some that the right person could pull off, and some people that didn't take it seriously...
The next question really is, of those who answered, how many of you use what you said regularily (adapting it to situations), or just put anything in writing because they really don't have anything planned to say??
Crotchsniffer - I was assuming one singular woman. The logistics were meant to be as the person would feel best to approach for all that I cared. You got it though, if you can make it past the first 5 seconds and be able to continue the conversation than you're good to go. You most often get shot down within this 5 seconds as well... with exception of course.
joe dirt - Does it really matter if you fail? This shyt is a contact sport, people get hurt one way or the other... The fact of the matter is if you open the girl and keep even a short conversation going you could easily get her number. Whether it's a real number is a different story.
