"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Go Patriots. I don't think there was any wrongdoing there with the deflating incident (and I'm from New England-easy).

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I stopped watching professional football, baseball, and basketball last year. Haven't watched a single NFL game this year.

Even though I won't be watching, I will say, Watch out for those feminist ads Fellas. This would be a great time to convey to friends and family about how much misandry is featured in those ads.
Ha, funny enough, this has what TV has ultimately come to for me, just laughing at the terribleness of it all. They are marketing HARD to the female population. I will probably watch the Super Bowl and drink some lite beer while I do, making me a hypocrite, but oh well, it's literally the only NFL game I have seen this year. I'm sure Katy Perry will make an ass out of herself at half-time too.

this is the first year that i really could give 2 ****s about the super bowl. I usually throw a little super bowl party but this year i'm like screw it I'm just gonna watch movies with my wife and son all day.

I think what ruined it for me is that the NFL is TOO available 24x7 365 now for 2 weeks straight it's super bowl super bowl super bowl and i just do not care. i don't care about the ads, i don't' care about the teams.

Me too. I haven't watched any NFL games this year. I sold my TV to my dad when I realized I had not turned it on in over a year.

I watch a little UFC, and I still watch baseball when the Cardinals are good, which is just about every season. It must be like being a Patriots fan.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
