"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

hi guys
i finally went out there with the aim of meeting some new friends, and i've finally found a cool gropu of 3 people whom i have a lot in common

now one of the gropu is a girl, whom i LJBF'd although it was mutual, and now she's holding a small party and inviting some of her single friends, with the intent of setting me up

my question is, do you guys have some default conversation fillers that you use? i know that i sometimes test her interest level by deliberatley allowing for some uncomfortable silence, but i just wanted to know some possible questions or topics that i can keep just in reserve. i do'nt let myself ask the same lame where do you work what do you study etc questions, because id rather save those for later, after ive found a fun girl

thanks

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

never never land
Dont think about what your going to say just let it flow. listen to what shes saying and expand on it. you can have a 10 minute conversation from a simple statement like "your in a good mood"

I appreciate the point you're making but......so many questions..... can really lead to nowhere....

....depends on the person though... seriously I don't even know how or why, but with certain people, ANY conversation is fun because both parties are making it fun, whereas with others it's hardly fun unless I put the effort in.... then it just crumbles...... different social dynamics I guess.....

I don't even know what the point of my post was.
