I'm sorry, but I always laugh sarcastically when I hear of women like this one in this story below. "I'm going to prove to the world just how independent and strong of a woman I am even though I will probably die anyway". This woman reminded me of Amelia Earhart who I also laugh at. What she tried to do was insane for the time (even though she had a male co-pilot which history never mentions). Back to the dame in the article below; She hiked 2600 miles across the USA and ski'd to the South Pole. Both of those were big achievements with moderate danger, why not stop while you are ahead lady? Why go kayaking down the Amazon River where you KNOW you will be robbed and killed by savage humans? Hasn't your ego been stroked enough by the other big things you did that were not as stupid? Dumb broad. She didn't deserve to die but I gotta laugh at her anyway.
